The 21 february  paragraph is one of the most important paragraphs in all of the world. Most of the cases in this paragraph come from the exam. So I have written this paragraph very easily and shortly. I think if you learn this paragraph, you will get good marks in the exam. 

 

1.  The 21 february paragraph for (HSC) (200words)

February 21 is the red letter day in our history. It is observed as Shaheed Day or Mother Language Day. Bangla is our mother tongue. We got this language as our state language through many struggles on February 21, 1952. The Pakistani rulers declared Urdu the state language. But the people of then-East Pakistan contradicted the declaration. They demanded Bangla is the state language of east Pakistan. The rulers imposed Section 144 on the city of Dhaka. But some students of our country brought out a procession in violation of Section 144 of 1952. The police fired at the procession; salam,barkat, rafique, etc. were killed on the spot. They are the first martyrs in the world for the cause of language. Through their sacrifices and blood,the martyrs brought home their demand for the status of Mother Language Day. Realizing the importance of this day, the Unesco declared our mother tongue day the international mother tongue day. Now the day is observed all over the world. 

1. Meaning in Bangla 

২১ ফেব্রুয়ারি আমাদের ইতিহাসে লাল অক্ষরের দিন। এটি শহীদ দিবস বা মাতৃভাষা দিবস হিসেবে পালন করা হয়। বাংলা আমাদের মাতৃভাষা। ১৯৫২ সালের ২১ ফেব্রুয়ারি বহু সংগ্রামের মধ্য দিয়ে আমরা এই ভাষাকে রাষ্ট্রভাষা হিসেবে পেয়েছি। পাকিস্তানি শাসকরা উর্দুকে রাষ্ট্রভাষা ঘোষণা করে। কিন্তু তৎকালীন পূর্ব পাকিস্তানের জনগণ এই ঘোষণার বিরোধিতা করেছিল। তারা বাংলাকে পূর্ব পাকিস্তানের রাষ্ট্রভাষা করার দাবি জানায়। শাসকরা ঢাকা শহরে ১৪৪ ধারা জারি করে। কিন্তু আমাদের দেশের কিছু ছাত্র ১৯৫২ সালের ১৪৪ ধারা লঙ্ঘন করে মিছিল বের করে। মিছিলে পুলিশ গুলি চালায়; ঘটনাস্থলেই সালাম, বরকত, রফিক প্রমুখ নিহত হন। ভাষার জন্য তারাই পৃথিবীর প্রথম শহীদ। শহীদেরা তাদের ত্যাগ ও রক্তের মাধ্যমে মাতৃভাষা দিবসের মর্যাদার দাবি ঘরে তুলেছেন। এই দিবসের গুরুত্ব অনুধাবন করে ইউনেস্কো আমাদের মাতৃভাষা দিবসকে আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস হিসেবে ঘোষণা করে। এখন সারা বিশ্বে দিবসটি পালিত হচ্ছে।

মাতৃভাষা দিবস, 21শে ফেব্রুয়ারি পালিত হয়, এটি ভাষাগত বৈচিত্র্যকে সম্মান করার এবং বিশ্বব্যাপী বহুভাষিকতার প্রচারের একটি উল্লেখযোগ্য উপলক্ষ। এটি সেই দিনটিকে স্মরণ করে যখন ছাত্ররা 1952 সালে বাংলাদেশের অন্যতম সরকারী ভাষা হিসাবে বাংলার স্বীকৃতির জন্য প্রতিবাদ করেছিল। এই দিনটি সাংস্কৃতিক পরিচয় এবং ঐতিহ্যের অবিচ্ছেদ্য অংশ, নিজের মাতৃভাষা সংরক্ষণ ও প্রচারের গুরুত্বের স্মারক হিসাবে কাজ করে। এটি বিশ্বব্যাপী কথিত ভাষার সমৃদ্ধি তুলে ধরে এবং বিলুপ্তির হাত থেকে বিপন্ন ভাষাগুলিকে রক্ষা করার প্রয়োজনীয়তার উপর জোর দেয়। মাতৃভাষা দিবস উদযাপন ভাষাগত পার্থক্যের প্রতি সহনশীলতা, বোঝাপড়া এবং সম্মানকে উৎসাহিত করে, সম্প্রদায়ের মধ্যে ঐক্য গড়ে তোলে। ভাষার মাধ্যমে, লোকেরা যোগাযোগ করে, তাদের চিন্তাভাবনা প্রকাশ করে এবং তাদের গল্পগুলি ভাগ করে, যা সমাজের ভিত্তি তৈরি করে। অতএব, এই দিনে, আসুন আমরা বিশ্বব্যাপী ভাষার বৈচিত্র্যকে সম্মান করি এবং উদযাপন করি, আমাদের ব্যক্তি ও সমষ্টিগত পরিচয় গঠনে তারা যে ভূমিকা পালন করে তা স্বীকৃতি দিয়ে।

মাতৃভাষা হল প্রথম ভাষা যা একজন ব্যক্তি জন্ম থেকে শেখে এবং তাদের পরিচয় এবং সাংস্কৃতিক ঐতিহ্য গঠনে এটি অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। এটি তাদের পরিবার এবং সম্প্রদায়ের দ্বারা কথ্য ভাষা, যা নিজেদের এবং সংযোগের অনুভূতিকে উত্সাহিত করে। নিজের মাতৃভাষায় শেখা বোধগম্যতা এবং জ্ঞানীয় বিকাশকে উন্নত করে, ভবিষ্যতের একাডেমিক সাফল্যের জন্য একটি শক্তিশালী ভিত্তি স্থাপন করে। অধিকন্তু, এটি বংশ পরম্পরায় চলে আসা আদিবাসী জ্ঞান এবং ঐতিহ্য সংরক্ষণ করে। মাতৃভাষার গুরুত্ব অনুধাবন করে, শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানের উচিত শিক্ষার্থীদের মাতৃভাষায় শিক্ষাদানকে অগ্রাধিকার দেওয়া যাতে কার্যকর যোগাযোগ এবং সামগ্রিক শিক্ষার অভিজ্ঞতা নিশ্চিত করা যায়। বৈচিত্র্যময় মাতৃভাষা গ্রহণ ও উদযাপন সমাজকে সমৃদ্ধ করে এবং অন্তর্ভুক্তি প্রচার করে।
